Lynn is a self-taught artist,
having explored her craft since 1980 - a creative journey that has been
filled with both challenges and opportunities. The family cabin, situated
in the Rocky Mountains is a sanctuary where Lynn often retreats for solitary
time to devote to her art work.
Each piece in her collection has a story to tell, each is a celebration of her life. The butterflies, though disguised from instant recognition, hold a very special place in Lynn's heart: following a personal tragedy, the butterflies began to appear in her artwork, representing hope and promise for the future. Some pieces show drops glistening on the foliage: simple dewdrops embodying the artist's tears of sorrow as well as expressing her tears of joy. For her, art is the ultimate medium for the expression of life. Lynn's work can be found in many private and corporate collections all over the world. Her commitment to the preservation of nature is evident in her use of recycled acid-free watercolour paper for all her cards and Limited Edition Prints.
