Canadian artist Adeline
Halvorson knew at an early age she wanted to be an artist. In her rural
upbringing, animals, especially horses , played a very important role.
Her artistic talents have developed through endless reading, experimentation
and hours of practice, first in pastel, then in acrylic. She enjoys a variety
of diverse subjects, but her favorite subject is equine. Years of
riding and grooming have given Halvorson a knowledge of anatomy and muscle
movement that her artistic skills bring to life on canvas.
