"Revelstoke Twilight"

A winter afternoon fades into evening. Lights in and around the station seem to brighten as the sky darkens. A westbound train, mail and express #5, perhaps, pulls away from the station behind Hudson #2860, and P2K #5468, a freight locomotive pressed into pusher service this evening for the climb over Eagle Pass. Headlights of a Pontiac sedan illuminate Johnny's Taxi, a 1947 Plymouth. Building and cars are long gone, but both of those locomotives escaped the scrapper's torch and survived into the year 2000.
