In 1996, Terri Kelly Moyers
won the Frederick Remington Award at the Prix de West show at the National
Cowboy Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City. The Canadian born artist cannot remember
wanting to be anything but an artist. She attended the Alberta College
of Art and later studied under Robert Lougheed. Moyers now lives and paints
in Southwestern Colorado with her husband, John, a member
of the Cowboy Artists of America, and their
young son Josh.
